The Tony-winning play, based on the best-selling novels, upends the century-old story of how an orphan boy becomes the legendary Peter Pan. Peter and the Starcatcher playfully explores the depths of greed and despair... and the bonds of friendship, duty and love.
While Peter and the Starcatcher is not considered a children's show, it is appropriate for young people eight years and older. Though not a musical, this play incorporates innovative musical elements to create magical storytelling.

What We Leave Behind

Theatre Raleigh’s 2025 world premiere of What We Leave Behind is a profound and timely musical exploring the impact of chronic illness on a family. When musical theatre composer Jenny receives a diagnosis of breast cancer, it seems as though her world has come crashing down around her, but what a journey she embarks on.
Written and composed by husband-and-wife team Jenny Giering and Sean Barry and based upon their shared journey, What We Leave Behind is a compelling one-woman musical, addressing some of the most pressing questions of our time with both heartwarming humor and heart-wrenching honesty.
What We Leave Behind is presented in partnership with Capital Arts Theatre Guild.

Once on This Island

Our final show of the season will be Once On This Island.
This is a highly original and theatrical Caribbean adaptation of the famous fairy tale “The Little Mermaid.”
This musical myth is a breathtaking story of joy, sorrow, and the triumph of love against all forces.
Told with Caribbean rhythms and instruments, this Tony Award-winning musical is a testament that a beautiful story simply told has the power to inspire, uplift, and connect us all.

All productions will take place in Raleigh in the Theatre Raleigh Arts Center.
A subscription (now called a PASS) is comprised of one ticket to each of our five 2025 productions. If you purchase more than one subscription, please select that number of seats for each show.
After you select your seats, you will be able to select your price level by clicking on the drop-down menu for Adult, Senior, Youth etc. then “add to cart.”
There may be a different seating chart for each show, but every show will be in the De Ann S. Jones Main Stage Theatre.
Dress Circle seating (pink) is located on the first 2 or 3 rows. Gallery seating (orange) is located in the remaining rows. All seats are on risers, there is no balcony.
Accessible seats are on the front row, notated in gold.
Please note that ASL interpreted performances will be held on the second Saturday matinees at 2:00 p.m.
